The live performance “Jiyu-Raku” at Kuro-Neko Chabo is the first release from Love Share Dopamine (L.S.D.), a sub-label of UFO CREAtions, a Chinese music label. "Jiyu-Raku” is a series of "Suishou No Fune" performances at "Kuro Neko Sabo". In April, the two-hour improvisation performance was recorded at a coffee shop in Asagaya on a spring evening.

Minimalist improvisation by a psychedelic band from Tokyo Suishou No Fune "Jiyuraku"
UFO Creations/Love Share Dopamine [CHINA] *Cassette
This is a pair of professionally produced cassette tapes (the photo shows the two front covers side by side) containing a recording of a two-hour live performance in April 2024 by a psychedelic band from Tokyo formed in 1999.
It is a trio improvisation at their base, "Kuroneko Sabo" in Asagaya.
“A-side” opens quietly with a primitive percussion performance in the style of folk music, soon joined by woodwinds, and eventually a female vocalist. From the “B-side” onward, the band carefully spins a “story” based on two electric guitars, bass, and vocals. At times, the Velvet Underground and early Galaxy 500 come to mind, but the singing, which is fittingly called "utai", also touches the heart.
The performance took place in a very small venue, which meant that loud volume couldn't be produced, and you were slowly drawn in by the minimalist sound with an acoustic texture. The soft sound quality unique to cassettes also contributes to the warm "hallucination" of this work.
